How Can J-Lin Improve
While Jeremy Lin already has crazy game, there is always room to improve. As a student of the game, expect Lin-sanity to keep chipping away at his weaknesses until there are none left. ESPN asked some NBA scouts to diagnose what Lin needed to improve on. First and foremost, he needs to improve his ability to go left. He goes right a whopping 80% of the time and defenders have begun to take notice. Jeremy also needs need to work on limiting his turnovers. He’s still very new to the league, so this should improve with experience. He’s certainly smart enough to improve his decision-making. Finally, Lin needs to work on beating traps. He’s incredibly strong against the pick and roll but has sometimes struggled when team’s trap him. Despite these minor flaws, scouts are very positive on Lin-sanity’s future. One well-regarded scout believes Lin will overcome his deficiencies and become an even bigger superstar,
“I think he’s talented enough to work on it and really get better. He’s a student of the game.”
Down But Certainly Not Out
USA Today Claims Lin-sanity Is Over
In a blog post today, the USA Today unilaterally decided that Lin-sanity is coming to an end. Really? Can you fault J-Lin for putting up 14 points and 7 assists against the reigning World Champs? Most NBA teams would be very envious of that kind of production from their point guards. He can’t go for 30 and 15 every game. Here at Lins & Losses our Lin-sanity is only growing and we can’t wait to see what Jeremy does in the postseason. The Lin-ticipation is killing us.
